Twitter elimina importancia enlaces para posicionamiento

Se estaba realizando una técnica de SEO (posicionamiento de páginas web, es decir, estrategias para aparecer antes en buscadores y por tanto obtener más visitas hacia una web) consistente en poner enlaces en el perfil de Twitter, los cuales tenían bastante importancia por ser Twitter una página muy visitada e importante. Un enlace en un perfil de Twitter ayudaba a estar antes en los resultados del buscador.

Twitter ha cambiado eso recientemente y ha restado importancia a los mismos, con una técnica concreta de código de páginas web (para los entendidos, un enlace con rel=nofollow).

Twitter realiza el cambio como una más de sus técnicas de lucha contra el SPAM que tanto asola Twitter, aunque se ha mejorado mucho.

La noticia es interesante, incluso se rumoreó que la propia Google había exigido a Twitter ese cambio, pero el experto Matt Cutts lo desmiente.
