Un aparato de GPS que tuitea

Se está hablando mucho del navegador GPS con conexión a Internet, con amplia información en tiempo real, llamado Dash Express. Han creado una API abierta para el mismo, y gracias a la misma se ha creado una aplicación que envía tweets con nuestra posición real (se cita de ejemplo si vamos tarde a un sitio que sepan por dónde vamos nuestros amigos), y también recibe los últimos 20 tweets de nuestros followings.

El tuitear nuestra posición exacta en cada momento que queramos transmitirla no la veo de especial interés a no ser que esté protegida la información, lo cual sería ideal como sistema de geoposicionamiento ajeno a sistemas específicos comerciales que intentan vender (hace poco recibí propaganda en la empresa).

¿Qué opináis del invento, y su utilidad frente a la privacidad? A los usuarios activos de Twitter la privacidad no nos importa en demasía, pero quizá ésto sea ya pasarse un poco.

Podría ser útil cuando se hace un viaje para visitar a unos familiares, y para evitar la llamada para decir dónde estamos. Twitteamos eso y ellos se hacen a la idea de cúanto falta para que lleguemos.

Sin duda una interesante aplicación que bien llevada, puede ser útil.
